As yuletide carols fade, begins the Auld Lang’s Syne parade, out with the old in with the new let’s see what this new year can do? An end to poverty, hunger and violence? I think not, as this economy still has surprises. The gap between the have and have nots is widening at a great rate of knots, so much so that trouble is brewing, bubbling under the surface, I see no happy ending. But on this New Years Eve I ask to show some compassion and love for someone else. For only this will save us all, not money, not possessions. They just set you up for a fall, goodwill to all men and a warm goodnight I wish you all love and respect tonight.
