Early days (part 2)

While at Master Toddy’s gym I was lucky enough to be allowed to train in the fighters class  and it was an honour to train alongside such people as Ronnie Green, Peter Feeley, Edge, Howard Brown and Anne Quinlan. Anne especially spent a lot of time helping me and with her guidance it really helped me improve, but alas my heart was still in Chinese Martial Arts.

So one day while I walking through Manchester Chinatown I saw a newspaper clipping for a traditional Gung Fu school. I rang the number and was told that Master Chu would be there the following Sunday. This was the start the next part of my journey one that would last nearly 20 years with a man who has influenced me and helped me become the person I am today.
