I first met Guro Krishna Godhania of Warriors Eskrima in 1998 and trained with him privately till 2003 rising to become senior Associate Instructor and Area Representative for him. Training with Krishna was fantastic he showed me so much about breaking down techniques flowing from the drills and really opened my eyes to a new way of looking at Martial Arts. I created a good club with some very dedicated and talented students, these students have gone on to be instructors themselves and I am very proud to have helped them in their development. The stalwarts of the class at that time were, Rob and Simon Campion, Lun and Kit Lok and Johnny Cowan I would like to thank you for your support and friendship.

I have likened training with Krishna to having a mini epiphany and it is true as far as I am concerned as we looked at so much within the Filipino Martial Arts and how it could be developed and he never stopped innovating and encouraging me to do likewise. I have since gone on to develop a system of Filipino Martial arts called 5X5X5 and it is a synthesis of everything I have learned over the years and stripped of unessential drills and moves, just what works and what i feel a person needs to progress.
